Fair Pricing Philosophy
Cloth by Medina's values of ethical craftsmanship, sustainability, and fair trade
Why We Don’t Rely on Discounts, A Commitment to Fair Trading for All
We often get asked why we don’t do frequent sales or steep discounts like many other brands. The answer is simple: it’s not because we’re against giving our customers value in fact, it’s quite the opposite. We deeply value our customers, our vendors, our artisans, and every hand involved in the creation of our products. That’s why we choose a path of fair pricing over discount culture.
Our handcrafted products are made with time, skill, and soul. They are woven by artisans who have inherited generations of wisdom, dyed with botanicals grown and harvested with care, and shaped into beautiful, functional pieces that last. Every item reflects a transparent cost that considers ethical wages, sustainable sourcing, and long-term partnerships with our suppliers.
When brands offer big discounts, someone always bears the hidden cost, usually the artisan or the environment. We believe that undercutting prices means undercutting the value of human work and nature’s time. Instead, we aim to build a healthy ecosystem where vendors are respected, artisans are empowered, and customers receive honest value in every purchase.
This approach supports our greater mission: to promote sustainable growth for all our stakeholders, not just profit for a few. It allows us to reinvest in quality, innovation, and the communities we work with, ensuring that the benefits ripple far beyond the point of sale.
So while we may not offer flash sales or large markdowns, we do offer something richer: a fair and meaningful exchange. A product with a story, a purpose, and a future.
Thank you for being part of a conscious movement, one that respects people, planet, and the true cost of craftsmanship.
"When we honor the true value of craftsmanship, we help local artisans thrive, not just for today, but for a more dignified and sustainable future."
